Fright Nights in Vancouver has received an upgrade by the company Scare Factory. They start night and finish up on October 31st, 2009 at the PNE in Vancouver. Check out this page for more information.
After hearing Amy Beeman’s R-Rated scream session going through the Haunted House, I’ve become quite interested in going myself this year. PNE has completely redone their Haunted House for 2009.

The 2010 Olympic medals for the Winter Olympics in vancouver have been annouced, and they look pretty sweet. We are definately in an age of progressive improvement, needing to out-do the guy before us, and with Beijing doing what was easily the most spectacular Olympics hosting in 2008, Vancouver would obviously have to step it up.
The Olympic Medals for this games will be a wavey undulating shape, as opposed to the flat shape of previous medals. Go Vancouver woo!
This is hilarious! I’ve been an on and off follower of Dick’s blog MenAreBetterThanWomen.com… And this guy is awesome. I might not totally agree with what he says, but this guy does a fantastic job of marketing himself and obviously got himself a lot of exposure being on Dr. Phil.
I love the last bit of the clip where the woman says “I’d obviously be at the back of that line-up to date you.” and then he replies with “Well if you hit the treadmill a bit more you’d be at the front of the line.” ZING! Stupid bitch should have not been in the lineup at all if she wasn’t interested.
But anyway.. this is a hilarious blog, figured I should tell you guys about it. Watch the youtube clip too!
Definately do NOT get your wedding dress drycleaned here!
Kerrisdale Cleaners on 41st Avenue in Kerrisdale is a bunch of assholes as far as I’m concerned. My wife took her wedding dress in there to dry clean, which costed just under $500, easily the highest priced of all the Vancouver dry cleaners for Wedding Dress cleaning. We figured that for that kind of money you would get top notch service. Not so much.
My wife made a mistake and signed off on the wrong wedding date for the monogram (they wrote the date), which was her mistake. When she got the box back, which took 3 months, she realized it was wrong and started crying in the store. Another customer in the store gave her a hug and told her that a place in Parker Place would fix that for her cheap. The retarded girl working at the store just started blankly and said condescendingly “You are the one that wrote it wrong” and offered NO OPTION TO FIX IT, EVEN IF SHE WAS WILLING TO PAY! What the hell???? Then she just left, with a wedding box with the wrong date on it. Who the hell would want that? For the most important date in their life… you would figure a place that charges triple or double what their competition is charging for Dry Cleaning would be a little bit more understanding and helping.
Michael Steele, chairman of the Republican (Yes, Republican) National Committee, criticized Barack Obama’s Nobel Prize win this morning by saying that this win does little to alleviate the recession and joblessness in America.
This Michael Steele joker uses some of the criticism around the win in order to cut down the President by bringing up issues that are totally unrelated to the Nobel Prize. Props to him for knowing how to manipulate the media.. but then again, he is a politician. How can he expect Obama to fix in 9 months, what they let George W Bush destroy in 8 years? C’mon Steele.. if your man Bush can screw up American in 8 years, at least give Obama 8 years to fix it… besides, we all know it takes longer to rebuild than it does to destroy.
Anyway.. Congrats to Obama. This is a monumental moment for him, and surely a surprise to many people out there.
