I first noticed Sophia Bush when I saw John Tucker Must Die in theatres last year. At first I wrote her off as a typical teen-type actress with little talent and little future. Now she has emerged as being a very reputable young star picking up some teen choice awards and a starring role in the movie “The Hitcher” with Sean Bean which I also saw in Theatres.
Sophia is 25 years old and stars as Brooke Davis on the hit TV show One Tree Hill. She’s not only beautiful, but classy. She was briefly married to Chad Michael Murray but is now back on the market… but maybe she’s dating someone, who knows. Either way, you don’t have a chance in hell 😉

Frank and I went shopping the other day and picked up some more affliction gear. This will be my last purchase for a while since Affliction is making me poor. I have a hoodie coming in the mail and that’s going to be it for me!
I must have missed the button-down Affliction Apothecary shirt last time I was there, since it was at the back of a HUGE row of Affliction shirts. I almost wish I hadn’t seen it since I had to buy it after I saw it.. looked pretty darn good. I grabbed the long-sleeve button down version of this shirt:

I love the studded Affliction banner on the top of the shirt, mine is all black, rather than grey like this one, and of course is a long sleeve button down but is otherwise identical. I considered wearing this to my buddy’s wedding yesterday but decided that it might not look too good 🙂
Frank bought a sweet white thermal.. called the Winged Up Thermal. Looked good on him. I tried on the black thermals but looks like I have to size up to a X-Large on those babies.. I’m just a big guy I guess. Check out Frank’s Affliction Winged Up Thermal:

We were both pretty happy with our purchases, and i’m stoked.. Maybe I can wear it to some Christmas parties 🙂

Finally, after having to deal with a phone that has been dropped, slammed, soaked with sweat and smashed more because it didn’t work, I got a new phone. A Sony Ericsson T650i.

Compared to my old phone, the very first generation, with no bugs figured and taken out, this phone deserves all thumbs and toes up.
Here’s a brief overview of what my old phone was like. It was a V3 RAZR, not the ones you see now, but the one that first came out, fully loaded with too little memory and bugs, the screen always had dust underneath it, no matter how much tape I put on around the phone or how many times I cleaned it, it would always get dirty a few days later. At the end I was so annoyed I just peeled the screen protector off JUST so I can see the screen during daylight. This worked great unti I started talking on the phone for too too long at a time…3-5 hours each time. This allowed sweat, steam, dirt and other grimes that a human face produces to go inside the screen and then eventually $#@^ed up the screen. Now when I see the phone, all I see is !!!static!!! and nothing else. So I had to let people know not to text me because I wouldn’t be able to return the gesture.
So on to the new phone. I had to pick out a phone that no one else around where I live has and has super good functions, looks and what not, you know how it is. So T650i it is, the T means that the phone is metal bodied and the i simply means that it is for for Europe, Middle East, Africa, while the other version, which is the T650c is for China Mainland. Yes, this phone doesn’t actually have a version for America. Awesome, a phone not a lot of people will have, if any.
Most of the buttons, layouts button sequences are relatively similar to that of the V3 so there wasn’t that much problem to learn and get around the phone. Feature wise, this phone has 3.2 megapixel camera with a lot of different modes/settings (panorama, burst mode, frames, sepia and others), a MP3 player with expandable memory, 3G, etc. Not to mention the design of it is sleek and very intelligent looking. Haven’t had much time to play with it but what I have so far have made the money spent very worthwhile.
This is the phone to get if you are looking for a new phone…err wait, don’t get it because you shouldn’t have the same phone as me.
Peace

New addition to my Affliction clothing arsenal: The Raw Twofer Long Sleeve.
This shirt looks so much nicer in person that it does online.. didn’t think much of it when I saw it on revolveclothing.com, but when I saw it in person, the detail was amazing, with fine velvet applied on the Affliction lettering on the front, as well as the signature fleur-de-lise on the back.
The arms are destroyed along with the sleeves and the neck area.. very cool twofer. Do not miss this one. Also comes in t-shirt form and a pullover thin hoodie.

I’ve been looking for a new CD Player for a while. Ever since hearing that Krell KAV-300CD in my system, I’ve had a yearning for a new CD player to replace my Sony 555ES/Lite DAC combo. The Combo sounds good, but is a bit too laid back and lacking in definition now that I’ve heard better.
This is where the Shanling SCD300 comes in. I’ve heard amazing things about this player, but i’m not sure about buying another Chinese made player, but the list of specs is nothing short of amazing, not to mention it is a beautifully made top-loader for under $1500!
Check it out:

The parts used in it are quite amazing:
Top-Loading Sony KHM-280AAA SACD Pick-Up
High-Precision Clock
Sony CXD2753 SACD Decoder
Burr-Brown SRC4192 Upsampling Processor to 24 bit/192 KHz
PCM1792 DAC – Two of these are used, one for each channel
Dual EH6922 tube analog output stage for Unbalanced output
Burr-Brown OPA627 Op-Amps for Balanced output – 4 of them. Best Op-Amps you can get.
I think I really need to get one of these cd players.. I will not be happy until I get a new CD player. I enjoy the convenience of the 5-disc carousel on my Sony 555ES, and the mods I have done to it improve the performance immensely, but I am craving absolute perfection now.
